2. Data We Collect
2.1 Website delivery (server log data)
When you visit this website, your browser transmits technical data to our hosting infrastructure: your IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, requested page and request timestamp. This data is processed solely to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security (e.g. protection against attacks). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of this website. This website is hosted on Cloudflare Workers (static hosting, see Section 5). We do not keep our own access logs, and the data is not used for marketing, profiling, or any other purpose.
2.2 Email communication
If you contact us by email (info@kariudo.de or data@kariudo.de), we collect your email address and the content of your message. This data is used exclusively to respond to your enquiry. Emails sent to kariudo.de addresses are forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing, without being stored there, to our mailbox at Proton AG (Switzerland). Switzerland benefits from an EU adequacy decision, ensuring data protection equivalent to GDPR standards. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries) and, where your enquiry relates to a potential contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Emails are retained for 6 months after the last communication, unless longer retention is required by commercial or tax law (§ 147 AO).
3. Your Rights (Art. 15–22 GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- Erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”) (Art. 17)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18)
- Data portability (Art. 20)
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): Where processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data. If you object, we will no longer process the data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.
No automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place on this website.
To exercise any of these rights, contact: data@kariudo.de
4. Right to Lodge a Complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany (www.lda.bayern.de). You may also contact the authority of your own place of residence; a list of German data protection authorities is available at www.bfdi.bund.de.
5. Hosting & Data Transfers Outside the EU
This website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) via Cloudflare Workers (static asset hosting), which provides hosting, SSL encryption, DNS resolution and DDoS protection. In providing these services, Cloudflare processes visitor IP addresses and HTTP request metadata. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in the security and availability of this website. A Data Processing Agreement pursuant to Art. 28(3) GDPR is in place. Transfers to the US are safeguarded by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which Cloudflare, Inc. is certified, and additionally by Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Cloudflare DPA.
6. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy to reflect changes to this website, to legal requirements or to our data practices. The current version is always available on this page.
